Especially when parents and children settle down to rest together, everything has to be just right – from the sleeping surface to the level of firmness. The family bed mattress from Liegewiese is tailored exactly to these special requirements: thoughtfully constructed, individually adjustable, and available in several XXL sizes.
Mattress for the family bed: continuous or flexibly combinable
Our family bed mattresses are available in widths of 240 cm, 270 cm, 280 cm, and 300 cm. They offer sufficient space for sleeping together – without the "visitor's crack," without gaps. The highlight: the mattress consists of three individual mattress cores that are not glued together but enclosed by a continuous cover. This creates a large, level sleeping surface with smooth transitions between the zones.
The three mattress cores can be arranged in any order and combined in different levels of firmness – e.g., H2 and H3. This makes the mattress the ideal solution for families where different needs meet.
Comfort and function in every detail
Depending on the version, our mattresses offer either comfort foam (RG 35) with a 7-zone core or high-quality cold foam (RG 40) with a 7-zone cube core and a soft shoulder area. Both variants are point-elastic, support the body, and have seamlessly transitioning sleeping zones – for peaceful,
ergonomic sleep in the family bed.
The cover is made of quilted double cloth, is divisible and removable, and can be easily washed thanks to the 4-sided zipper. A stretch under-cover as well as four practical handle loops round off the features. Thanks to the large pores in the cold foam, the mattress is particularly breathable and ensures a pleasant sleeping climate – even during close cuddling.
Family-friendly, durable, flexible
The modular design of the family bed mattress supports the flexible concept of Liegewiese: mattress cores can be replaced if necessary – without replacing the entire mattress. This ensures long-term sleeping comfort. Individual components of the mattresses are certified according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, free of harmful substances, and therefore also suitable for babies and toddlers.
